This office design was part of the complete refurbishment of a listed townhouse. There were several significant
considerations, including the long narrow shape of the room and the existing period fireplace. The client’s specific
requirements included the need to maximise storage without cluttering the space.
The design also needed to accommodate an easy chair, desk and side table. After exploring many different possibilities, it was decided that a staggered unit along one wall was the best option, with bevelled glass cupboards used to display books and ornaments.
All the units were made from European Oak and finished with Hafele bar handles to provide an efficient, bright and
professional space.
This was one room in a series of projects undertaken in the house including built-in wardrobes, one that incorporated a dressing table.
