PAINTED KITCHEN B Ringmer, East Sussex
Although it was installed just over a decade ago, the existing kitchen in this property was looking dated and the client wanted a very different look – urban and contemporary. The tone was set by a black range cooker and black American-style fridge/freezer.
A wall partially separating the kitchen and dining areas was removed enabling an island to be installed, the curved shape of which was dictated by the necessity to create an easy flow of traffic around the kitchen and back and forth to the dining area.
A matching, but freestanding sideboard, completes the look and links the two spaces.
